Starting with the glass full
In a typical fundraiser, organizations have to pay entertainment costs before any proceeds go to the cause. It feels like starting with the glass half empty. Our costs are covered by our Funding Fans so that your organization can start with the glass full. When you contract us to perform, you contract more than just a band. We have years of experience helping organizations raise funds and awareness for their causes. We'll support you in planning, designing, and promoting so that together we ensure your event achieves its highest potential impact.
Getting to know you
It's essential to understand your organization's history and mission. Where are you in your evolution? At the beginning of your journey? At an inflection point? In a moment of special celebration such as an anniversary or an achieved milestone? What are we trying to do together? Gala event? Silent auction? Outdoors? Indoors? All of these questions are important for us to understand how to get the best/most out of our performance for you.
Setting objectives
We're at our best when we understand our role. Are we trying to raise funds? Are we only trying to raise awareness? Both? Are we protagonists in projecting your message and repeating a clear call to action, or are we entertaining your guests as part of a backdrop for that messaging to occur? These are important nuances.
Planning and promotion
It's quite possible that your planning is impeccable and your event is organized right down to the minute. On the other hand, you may want to turn to us in your buildup phase to make use of our experience in fundraising and awareness events. This is really up to you. We're here to help with promotional videos, social media, e-flyers, posters, radio and tv interviews leading up to the event. It's what we do.
Sound, lights, action
We travel with our own sound equipment and lighting. After many years, we feel it's the only way to deliver consistent quality. However, if we're convinced that more and better equipment is available and necessary for the engagement, we'll work closely with local sound engineers and stage decorators to achieve the perfect ambience for you.
