“Varroomba’s benefit concert for Vecinos Seguros 2 was a joyous, sold-out event that raised both money and awareness for our group. We are volunteers based in CT's rural Northwest Corner who support our immigrant neighbors targeted by ICE by providing rapid response, legal referrals, know-your-rights information, and financial assistance. Varroomba’s Wunderfans program made it possible for every dollar we raised to go to our group. It was a magical night that people raved about for weeks afterward!" Jill Drew, Director, Vecinos Seguros 2
“The success of our event has springboarded the planning of the next collaborative event for our three trusts and furthered our commitment to work together in the future. The atmosphere you created was beyond all of our expectations and those of our guests." Tom Bradbury, Director, Kennebunkport Conservation Trust
“Our Varroomba concert raised $3900 for the Shed to Shelter Fund, a big deal in a small, rural community like ours. We have been overwhelmed by Sam’s generosity and caring. On top of Barcelona’s absolutely spectacular performance, the economic boost our merchants experience when Barcelona’s in town and the pure joy of their music, we are simply filled with gratitude.” Paula Kee, Presenter, Alamo Theatre
“This was much more than a fundraiser for the Putnam Valley Community Food Shelter. The relationships that came from organizing the event together were priceless. What a triumph!" Mark Weiss, Director, Tompkins Corner Community Center
“Varroomba is a most welcome musical embrace in these ethic-challenging times. If there was ever a chance to visit the excitement and dynamism of Spain without having to board an airplane, this is it! The songs are world-class; inclusive, surprisingly instructive and always inspiring. Take it from an old folkie, Varroomba is the real deal!” Noel Paul Stookey of Peter, Paul & Mary
